Position Title:  Treasury Analyst

Description: The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting enterprise-wide treasury functions, including treasury operations, cash management and forecasting, banking solutions, and FX hedging and leasing programs. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cash positioning, including issuance of commercial paper or investment of excess cash.
  • Support cash forecasting, interest accrual preparation and cash management functions, including bank system administration, fee analysis/monitoring, letters of credit, and initiation of funds transfers.
  • Analyze foreign currency (FX) exposure data provided by subsidiaries and propose necessary hedge adjustments in accordance with Policy. 
  • Become proficient with PCC’s derivative accounting software (Chatham Direct), trade confirmation and settlement system (Misys) and trading platform (360T).
  • Develop a thorough understanding of ASC 815, the US GAAP hedge accounting standard; assist in compliance with derivative/banking regulations, including LEI maintenance, KYC and regulatory reporting.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/annual tasks such as reconciliation of GL accounts, cash/debt analysis & reporting, FBAR/FinCEN reporting, and bank account/signatory list maintenance.
  • Maintain Treasury department SOX documentation and disaster recovery plan and coordinate updates when necessary.
  • Support company-wide leasing activities, including coordination of lease data, accounting, and analysis.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of corporate finance and treasury issues, including NPV/IRR, cost-benefit and lease vs buy analysis; participate in projects such as system implementations and new policy rollouts.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist integration of recently acquired entities.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with 2-4 years’ experience in treasury, accounting, or other finance-related field.  Experience with FX hedging, leasing and/or public accounting a strong plus. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • A high level of motivation, initiative and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Positive professional who is a quick learner, willing to “roll up their sleeves and get the job done”.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel; data management skills such as pivot tables, V/Hlookups, and macros preferred.
